Special Economic Zones Awareness Seminar at Maryam University

The public awareness program was launched by Dr. Shahla Rashid, Founder of Maryam University. It included Mohammad Daud Sultanzoi, Senior Advisor to the President and Chairman of Afghanistan Airports Economic Development Commission, Nasrullah Sahibzada, Head of Commission Secretariat, Founder of Caravan Private University Syed Javed Andish, the technical team of the commission and hundreds of students were present. Ms. Rashid expressed her support for the government's position on the creation of special economic zones in the country and assured full cooperation on behalf of private universities in the process. Mr. Sultanzoi provided information on the status of the government, the importance of special economic zones in Afghanistan and current economic activities in the region. Mr. Sahibzada gave a presentation to the Public Awareness Seminar on current activities and the future of Afghanistan's Special Economic Zones. A number of questions from the seminar participants were also answered by the Commission leadership.
